Naidoc Week 2026
The Minhi's Netball Club is proud to officially launch our NAIDOC Week 2026 Community Programs, celebrating this year's national theme, "50 Years of Deadly."
Running from 5–12 July 2026, our week-long programs brings together culture, community, wellbeing and grassroots sport through a series of free activities designed to create safe, inclusive and empowering spaces for children, young people, women and families.
As a First Nations founded, owned and operated not-for-profit organisation, NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to honour the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples while celebrating the generations of our people, all Australians, elders, leaders and communities who continue to shape a stronger future.

A Week Dedicated to our Eastern Suburbs Community
This year's program has been thoughtfully developed by our committee & elders to ensure participants of all backgrounds have an opportunity to connect, learn and celebrate together.
Throughout the week, community members can register for a range of free activities, including:
-
Healing Yarning Circles for women aged 18 years and over.
-
Mini Netball Clinics for children and young people aged 5–17 years.
-
One-on-One Healing & Yarning Sessions for those seeking a more personalised experience.
-
Community Connection Activities celebrating culture, inclusion and belonging.
-
Free supervised childcare for mums, dads and carers attending selected programs, helping remove barriers to participation.
Every activity has been designed to strengthen confidence, wellbeing and community connection while celebrating the importance of culture through sport.
Creating Pathways Beyond the Court
At The Minhi's Netball Club, we believe sport has the power to change lives.
Our programs extend beyond netball by creating opportunities for participants to build confidence, strengthen cultural identity, improve mental wellbeing and develop meaningful relationships within a safe and supportive environment. Through initiatives like our Healing Yarning Circles, we continue to remove barriers to participation and create pathways for girls and women to reconnect with sport, community and themselves.
Powered by Partnership
The Minhi's Netball Club proudly acknowledges the organisations helping make this year's NAIDOC Week program possible.
Westfield Eastgardens joins us as our Principal Community Partner, supporting the continued growth of our Healing Yarning Circles Program and helping create culturally safe spaces where connection and community can thrive on and off the court.
Beyond Blue, our Mental Health & Wellbeing Partner, provides trusted mental health information, practical wellbeing resources and educational tools that encourage open conversations and support positive mental health outcomes.
Official Boss Beauties, our Leadership & Youth Empowerment Sponsor, proudly supports our Mini Netball Clinics by helping inspire confidence, resilience and leadership in the next generation, encouraging participants to feel empowered both on and off the court.
Together, these partnerships enable us to deliver free, accessible programs for all participants with respect to their backgrounds, abilities & cultures, that create lasting social impact throughout our community.
